清須城です。大阪方面から新幹線でこのお城が見えると名古屋に着いたと実感する、清洲町の町制100周年記念事業として誕生したふれあい郷土館が、現在の清洲城天守閣になっています。
Whenever I'm coming to Nagoya station from west Japan. I always like to look out the left hand side of the train to see Kiyosu castle. We can see the castle from both the Jr toukaido-line and the Shinkan-sen. Kiyosu castle is located between kiyosu station and Biwajima station, though Kiyosu station is a little closer. It takes about 15-20 minutes by foot from Kiyosu station.
清洲城物語説明によると、室町時代の初め、尾張の守護職であった斯波義重は、清洲に守護所下津城の別郭として清洲城を築城と記してあります。
he castle was rebuilt for the 100th anniversary of Kiyosu town's foundation. In the castle there is a materials exhibition holl. I parked in the large parking area, and crossed the red-colored bridge, which spans the Gojo river. There is a good view of Nagoya city from the observation deck of the castle. Icould see the nagoya station towers, the Sakae TV tower, and the Higashiyama-koen tower.
